

Hello! We're Grace and Nick, the duo behind Sowleil. Our journey started back in 2020, on a flight to Nepal for what was supposed to be the adventure of a lifetime. When COVID hit, those plans were cut short—and what came next was completely unexpected. Back home in Vancouver, we started making homemade seed butter and sharing it with friends and family on Instagram. Before we knew it, Seed Almighty was born.
For Grace, living with severe nut allergies meant safe, delicious spreads were always hard to find. So we created our own — and a local grocery store took notice. Suddenly, we were running a business, balancing full-time jobs as a critial care nurse and teacher, and learning everything as we went. It was an amazing ride, but after a busy year, we made the tough choice to pause and fulfill our dream of traveling parts of the world.
That time away gave us fresh eyes and a renewed sense of purpose. We realized how much we still believed in what we started — and how much more we wanted to build.
Today, with a new name and bigger dreams, we’re proud to bring you Sowleil: a home for nutrient-packed, allergen-friendly foods that go way beyond seed butter. We believe that good food should be safe, joyful, and inclusive — and we're just getting started.
